Hello! I am suffering a great deal of perplexity due to Part B of this question. I have indicated in bold the source of my confusion. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
The community nurse collected data on the ages of women who had given birth to their first child in the last year in each of the two towns that she visited. Her findings were:
Town A: 23, 22, 23, 28, 33, 40, 22, 18, 34, 28
Town B: 27, 26, 24, 30, 29, 32, 28, 27
a. Calculate the mean age, median age, range, interquartile range, and standard deviation for each town. (I have done so.)
b. Give a brief summary and compare the age of women giving birth to their first child in each town. What implications might this have for the services that the community nurse needs to provide in each town?
