Hello SatyajithI don't know if you mean AP and GP. If so, they stand for

*Arithmetic Progression*and*Geometric Progression*, respectively.

You'll find some notes and a couple of simple examples on this page.

I'm sure you can find further examples if you search for these expressions on Google.
