Thread: simple math question

Hi, i am making a gate out of metal, the gape between the two side bars is 1420mm, i need to fit 11 metal bars in side with equal spacing between them all, the bars are 14mm wide each, how do i calculate for the space between them to be equal.

Thank you, that got me there, 11 bars gives 12 spaces so i got an answer of 105.5 between them. sorted.
