Normal Distribution - Mean and Standard Deviation
How do you work out the mean and standard deviation when you are given Total number of trials and probability of success.

i.e: Total number of trials = 100
probability of success = 10% (0.1)

Mean = np
SD= sqrt(npq) where q = prob of failure = 1-p

Your question appears to refer to a binomial distribution. Why then do you have normal distribution in your post title?
