i) and ii) Refer to your class notes or textbook.

iii) E(aX + bY) = aE(X) + bE(Y) (which undoubtedly is also in your class notes and textbook)

iv) If X and Y are independent, Var(aX + bY) = a^2Var(X) + b^2Var(Y) (which undoubtedly is also in your class notes and textbook).
