If three coins are tossed at the same time, what is the probability of getting two tails and on head? Please express the answer as a common fraction.
I don't get how the answer could be 3/8. I got 1/4, can anybody tell me why the answer is 3/8?

Number the coints 1,2,3. Then the possibilities are hhh, thh, hth, hht, htt, tht, tth, ttt and these are equally likely.

Of these eight outcomes exactly three have two tails and one head so the probability is 3/8.
