I've got a math problem. It just shows me a picture of a scatter plot with plots and a line of regression with a negative correlation. It y-axia is the price of a used corolla and the x-axis is the age of the corolla.
I already figured out that the price goes down as the age of the car increases.
I also figured that the correlation coefficient and line of regression won't change if I change the x-axis to price and y-axis to age.
But I don't know how I can find the greatest residual of the x-value that has an x-scale of 1 and a range from 1-15 & to know if it will either be a positive or negative residual?
