    Question The Median

    The median of a random variable X is a number μ that satisfiees FX(μ) = 1/2.
    Find the median of the exponential random variable with parameter λ=0.15

    Solve \int_0^{m} f(x) \, dx = \frac{1}{2} for m, where m is the median (I refuse to use \mu as the symbol for the median - using this symbol is plain dumb) and f(x) is the pdf of the exponential random variable.
