Solve $\displaystyle \int_0^{m} f(x) \, dx = \frac{1}{2}$ for $\displaystyle m$, where $\displaystyle m$ is the median (I refuse to use $\displaystyle \mu$ as the symbol for the median - using this symbol is plain dumb) and $\displaystyle f(x)$ is the pdf of the exponential random variable.
