Roll Dice Probability Pt 2
Could you please help me with the following question?

Two fair dice are rolled, 1 Red and 1 Green. Find the probability that the square of the difference of the two numbers obtained is greater than 3.

Let X be the random variable square of the difference. Use this dice table to get the value of X for all 36 possibilities. Then construct a table that shows the probability of each value of X. eg. Pr(X = 0) = 6/36 = 1/6, Pr(X = 1) = 6/36 = 1/6. Pr(X = 4) = ..... etc.

Now use that table to answer the given question. Note that Pr(X > 3) = 1 - Pr(X = 0) - Pr(X = 1). (So in fact, I've pretty much answered the question ....)
