    Probability of HIV test

    1)given a person wiht HIV ,probability of showing positive result =0.9;

    2)given a person wihtout HIV,probability of showing negative result =0.95;

    3)proportion of HIV carriers in the world =0.01;

    Question:
    if an HIV carrier is given 2 tests that are carried out in 2 independent labs with the same test condition,
    wat's the probability of both tests showing positive results....?

    If two events A and B are independent then Pr(A and B) = Pr(A) x Pr(B) ....
