1. ## Simple statistics

Hi,

I have a question and I really hope that you can help me.

A couple of days ago I received response to a questionnaire I've mailed to 6 categories of people.

Not all people in each category answered the questionnaire, and now I would like to know if one group responded significantly less, than the other groups.

The answers in percent for each group is:

65 %
55 %
50 %
50 %
40 %
30 %

Is it possible to do some statistical calculations on this?

I really hope that you can help me.

Yes

If you sent the same number of questionaires to each group, then the mean response was 48% (approx).

You can calc the variance & determine the standard deviation.

What level of significance are you looking for?
