    Polynomial function question

I'm stuck on this question. Could you give me a clue as to where I should start?

    find a,b,and c... ax^2+bx+c. P(3+4i)=0, and P(3-4i)=o

I appreciate your help very much.

    If 3 + 4i is a root, then x - (3 + 4i) is a factor.

    If 3 - 4i is a root, then x - (3 - 4i) is a factor.

This is a quadratic, so it only has the two factors. Multiply them out. Simplify.

Compare the coefficients. Copy down the values of a, b, and c.
