Simplify and multiply this equation
I can solve this through substitution since it's multiple choice ( $X/(X-1)$, but how is it simplified?

(( $9x^2-4$) $/$( $3x^2-5x+2$)) * ( $(9x^4-6x^3+4x^2$)/ $27x^4+8x$)

Hi fcabanski,

$\frac{9x^2-4}{3x^2-5x+2}\cdot \frac{9x^4-6x^3+4x^2}{27x^4+8x}$

Let's factor the thing.

$\frac{(3x-2)(3x+2)}{(3x-2)(x-1)}\cdot \frac{x^2(9x^2-6x+4)}{x(27x^3+8)}$

$\frac{(3x-2)(3x+2)}{(3x-2)(x-1)}\cdot \frac{x^2(9x^2-6x+4)}{x(3x+2)(9x^2-6x+4)}$

How's this for a start?

I got that far but made a mistake when I factored the denominator of the second term. Thanks for the help.
