converting polar equation to rectangular form...tough problem
how would i convert r = 2/ (1+sinθ) into a rectangular form? i know that the answer is x^2+4y-4=0 because i checked the answer sheet. :) but how do i get to the answer??

$r(1 + \sin \theta )= 2 \Rightarrow r + r \sin \theta = 2 \Rightarrow r + y = 2 \Rightarrow r = 2 - y$.
