1. ## 1. Composition 2. See Attached Picture for 2nd Problem

1. Let $\displaystyle f(x)=5x+3$ and $\displaystyle g(x)=3x^2+3x$

next problem...

2. Using the attached picture find:

A. f(g(-3)):?

B. f(g(0)):?

Thanks

2. Picture is Attached Now...

These are composite functions and can be done quite simply, as long as you go step by step.

A. f(g(-3)):
First what is g(-3)? According to the graph g(-3) = 3.
So f(g(-3)) = f(3) = 0

B. f(g(0)):
Again, what is g(0)? According to the graph g(0) = 1.
So f(g(0)) = f(1) = -1.
