1. ## sketching

how am i supposed to sketch modulus of f(x) = x(x-1)(x-2) ?
the modulus part i know how to do, but how am i supposed to graph this cubic function? i dont know how to do that, i wasnt taught how, i just learned the basic shape with two turning points. is there a catch somewhere? i know how to make transformations from a more elementary function.

It's a positive cubic and obviously has x-intercepts at x = 0, 1 and 2. So sketching the shape should be straightforward.

To find the turning points you have to use calculus, which I assume you haven't been taught yet ...? (In which case there's nothing you can do to get them).

3. sure i know how to differentiate
thanks
