    Quadratic Equations

    Hey; first post, and am from Australia. Dunno wheather this is in the right forum or not, since it dose not require calculus.

    The points O,A,B lie on a straight line *OA, *OB represent the roots of the equation 5x^2 - 20x + 6 = 0. If M is the midpoint of AB find *OM

    First solve 5x^2 - 20x + 6 = 0. Can you do this?
