Is the following statement true of false? Explain your decision.
“If u x v = v x u, then u is orthogonal (i.e. perpendicular) to v.”
My answer is :
This statement is false because u is parallel to v , thus the cross product equals zero in each case therefore u cannot be perpendicular to v .
is that alright ?
