Is the following statement true of false? * please check answer
The question is :

Is the following statement true of false? Explain your decision.
“If u x v = v x u, then u is orthogonal (i.e. perpendicular) to v.”

My answer is :
This statement is false because u is parallel to v , thus the cross product equals zero in each case therefore u cannot be perpendicular to v .

is that alright ?

that's right. just say that u = v is a solution to the equation and so the equation does not imply u is orthogonal to v
