    math problem help please

    The cost(C), in dollars, of a taxi ride in a city is given by the following linear
    equation in two variables:

    C = 2d + 2.5

    where the variable d represents the distance in miles.

    Explain how the slope and intercept can be interpreted in this model.

    When you order a taxi in New York City you need to pay the non Enlgish speaking driver 2.5 dollars intiallay.

    Then for each mile drove you need to pay 2.
