Hey, could someone please help me with this problem? I'm not quite sure how to do it. $\displaystyle 10x^{2}+3(10^{x})-10=0 $ Thanks for the help! I'm stumped.

Are you sure the equation is not meant to be $\displaystyle (10^x)^{2} +3(10^{x})-10=0$, which factorises: $\displaystyle (10^x + 5)(10^x - 2) = 0$.
Yes, you're right. That was stupid. Thanks for catching my mistake!
