    how to graph

I have to find the solutions of these equations

x-2y < 4 that's sign is supposed to be less than or equal than 4
    x+2y>4

I already did it, but don't know how to post my work

    thank you.

    Hello,

this is only a guess: I assume that you want to draw the graphs of the inequalities:
    \left\{\begin{array}{l}y\geq \frac{1}{2}x-2\\y\geq -\frac{1}{2}x+2 \end{array}\right..

    1. Draw the lines:
    \left\{\begin{array}{l}y= \frac{1}{2}x-2\\y= -\frac{1}{2}x+2 \end{array}\right..

    2. Mark the area of the coordinate plane which is above of each line, preferable in different colours.

    3. This (these) area(s) is (are) the graph(s) of your inequalities.

    4. I've painted the area y\geq \frac{1}{2}x-2\ \cap \ y\geq -\frac{1}{2}x+2 .
