    Rational functions

I am stuck teaching myself the the more complex questions in this section of my book.

    couple problem examples:

    graph each function:

    h(x)= x+1/x^2 + 3x -4

    or

Find the equation of the vertical asymptotes

    f(x)= x^2 -2x -4/ x^3-2x^2 + x

Can anyone break these 2 problems down for me, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

    thanks
    Jessa

To learn how, study up on asymptotes (being the zeroes of the denominator) and graphing rational functions. (You need to learn about the asymptotes first!)
