# Math Help - Table of values and ordered pairs-desprate!

1. ## Table of values and ordered pairs-desprate!

Here is what my math homework says: Make a table of values and graph six sets of ordered pairs for the equation y= - 2x on the coordinate plane to the right.
I'm really confused and don't understand this. I've been searching for an hour trying to figure it out to no avail.

You need to make up a table like:

Code:
   x y
-3 +6
-2 +4
0 0
2 -4
3 -6
4 -8
Then plot these points on a graph (if you have been given a blank
plot with the axis scales marked in you may need to adjust the points
so that they use most of the plot area.

Here is graph for $y=-2x$ with points given by CaptainBlack.
