At a concert, main floor seats sell for $25.00 and Upper Level seats sell for$12.00. There were 50,000 people in attendance and the concert total ticket sales is $1,112,000. How many main floor seats and upper level seats were sold? MY SET UP: Let m = main floor seats Let u = upper floors seats 25m + 12u = 1,112,000 m + u = 50, 000 Is this correct? 2. MY SET UP:

Let m = main floor seats

Let u = upper floors seats

25m + 12u = 1,112,000

m + u = 50, 000

Is this correct?
Yes you are correct, just solve that system for m and u now

I am so happy to have the right equations. This has been my biggest problem in math--->creating equations from the given information in word problems.
