Hi - this one has a twist that has me stumped - help please!

A bird is flying at 20 m/s [W] and swerves to a new course and speed, 24 m/s [W 30 deg S] over 1.2 s. What was it's acceleration?

$a = \frac{\Delta v}{\Delta t}$

remember that $\Delta v$ is the difference of two vectors.
