Hello, i am looking to find the inverse of: f(x)=(x+6)^3 The ^3 is throwing me off, and the book doesnt cover this type of example. Thanks alot for any help!

$\displaystyle f(x)=y\Rightarrow (x+6)^3=y\Rightarrow x+6=\sqrt[3]{y}\Rightarrow x=\sqrt[3]{y}-6\Rightarrow f^{-1}(x)=\sqrt[3]{x}-6$
Thank you very much!
