    Functions of X

    Find f(a+h) for the following function...
    f (x) = 6x3
    I have 6(a+h)3 but the website keeps saying it's wrong and I don't know why!

    the 3's at the end are supposed to be cubes, so 6x^3 and 6(a+h)^3 sorry

    note the use of carets to indicate an exponent.

    f(x) = 6x^3

    f(a+h) = 6(a+h)^3

    maybe the site wants carets, or an expansion of 6(a+h)^3
