    Polynomial functions

    Hey guys.. Having a hard time with the last question of my lesson.. Could use some help:

    Determine an equation of a polynomial function with zeros at x=2, -2, 1, and y-intercept of 24.. In the past example I was given the zeros and other things such as the degree or a point.. Not sure how to do this with y-intercept which I only know in the equation y=mx+b

    P(x) = k(x-2)(x+2)(x-1) , where k is a constant TBD

    P(0) = 24 ...

    24 = k(-2)(2)(-1)

    so, k = 6

    P(x) = 6(x-2)(x+2)(x-1)
