Um...does anyone know how to sketch x = y^3 - 16y?
if you have a TI graphing calculator, go to parametric mode and graph
$\displaystyle X_{1T} = T^3 - 16T$
$\displaystyle Y_{1T} = T$
the following window settings give a good look at the graph ...
$\displaystyle T_{min} = -10$
$\displaystyle T_{max} = 10$
$\displaystyle T_{step} = 0.1$
$\displaystyle X_{min} = -30$
$\displaystyle X_{max} = 30$
$\displaystyle Y_{min} = -8$
$\displaystyle Y_{max} = 8$
