    Sketching a graph

    Um...does anyone know how to sketch x = y^3 - 16y?

    if you have a TI graphing calculator, go to parametric mode and graph

    X_{1T} = T^3 - 16T
    Y_{1T} = T

    the following window settings give a good look at the graph ...

    T_{min} = -10
    T_{max} = 10
    T_{step} = 0.1
    X_{min} = -30
    X_{max} = 30
    Y_{min} = -8
    Y_{max} = 8
