1. ## Pre-Calc : Difference Quadrant help!

Ok, So I got two problems I have no clue how to do or finish the first I got far on....

First

f(x) = 1/x+7
f(x+h) = 1/(x+h)+7

My work...

[ 1/(x+h)+7 ] - [ 1/x+7 ]
_____________________

h/1

Skip few steps.... Then

1(x+7) - (x+h)+7 / h [(x+h)+7](x+70

Dont know where to go from there.....

Second problem have no clue where to start or finish...

f(x) = Square Root of x+7

Help would be very appreciated!

Is the first $\frac{1}{x + 7}$ or $\frac{1}{x} +7$?

Is the second $\sqrt{x + 7}$ or $\sqrt{x} + 7$?
