1. ## Real numbers and natural logs

If possible, find a pair of real numbers $x$ and $y$ such that $xy = 6$ but it is not true that $ln6 = lnx + lny$.

I don't think this is possible..is it? I've tried with 6 and 1, 3 and 2, 1/2 and 12, and 1/3 and 18.

Thanks for any help!!

2. $(-2)(-3) = 6$

now think.
