1. ## [SOLVED] Graphing... (why can't I remember this?)

How do I graph these? Ah I can't think!
y+6=3
x-4=0

2. y = a constant

a horizontal line that passes through all points with y-value equal to that constant

x = a constant

a vertical line that passes through all points with x-value equal to that constant

3. Well that doesnt help to much when the Y is no number, how to i plot these on the graphs?

4. what do you mean "y is no number?"

y + 6 = 3

y = -3

step 1: go down 3 units on the y-axis ... put a dot there.

step 2: draw a horizontal line that passes through the dot.

simple enough?

i do not understand where you have difficulty.

skeeter told you exactly what you need to know.

lets use an example, i suppose

example 1: say we want to graph y = 1

this is just a horizontal line that cuts the y-axis at 1

example 2: say we want to graph x = 1

this is just a vertical line that cuts the x-axis at 1

6. Thanks all. I'm really tired and I'm not using my brain. Marking as solved and I'll thank you both in a minute.
