where

$N_0 =$ initial number of bacteria

$N_t =$ number of bacteria after time t

d = doubling time = 30 min = 0.5 hour

t = total time

Now solve and finish.

4. I got f(x)=2(0.5)^(x/0.5) + 10 as the rule but that's wrong.
