    Parametric equations for conic sections

    How would I go about solving this:
    Find parametric equtions for the conic section x^2+y^2-9=0

    x^2 + y^2 = 9 is a circle of radius 3 and centre at the origin. The standard parametric equations in this instance are therefore x = 3 \cos t and y = \, ....
