    Post x-intercept

    Please help...

    Find the x intercept of y = -0.0814x3 + 2.7624x2 - 148.64x - 85.91.

    Mine says that too...except y does not equal 0, it equals -2.E-12

    -2 E -12 = -0.000000000002 is close enough to zero ... calculators are only so accurate.
