    a(2)^2 + b(2) + c = 7

    a(-1)^2 + b(-1) + c = 10<br />

    a(0)^2 + b(0) + c = 5

solve the system for the coefficients a, b, and c

When you get a,b,c you can write the equation in the form ax^2 +bx +c. That would be the equation of a parabola.
