Parabola

Write the equation of the parabola in standard form that passes through the points (2,7),(-1,10), and (0,5)

help me please! I don't remember how to do this and I have a test tomorrow (Crying)

$a(2)^2 + b(2) + c = 7$

$a(-1)^2 + b(-1) + c = 10<br />$

$a(0)^2 + b(0) + c = 5$

solve the system for the coefficients a, b, and c

and then plot what value you get for the x value you plug in?

When you get a,b,c you can write the equation in the form $ax^2 +bx +c$ . That would be the equation of a parabola.
