$\displaystyle a(2)^2 + b(2) + c = 7$

$\displaystyle a(-1)^2 + b(-1) + c = 10

$

$\displaystyle a(0)^2 + b(0) + c = 5$

solve the system for the coefficients a, b, and c - Dec 3rd 2008, 07:05 PMlax600
and then plot what value you get for the x value you plug in?

When you get a,b,c you can write the equation in the form $\displaystyle ax^2 +bx +c$. That would be the equation of a parabola.
