    inverse does not look right

    inverse of f(x) x^3 -4

    I got y=(x+4)^(1/3)

    graphed it and?

    Well y=(x+4)^(1/3) is the inverse of f(x),

    Use your calculator again, guess you made a clerical mistake?

    I think you graphed y = (x + 4^(1/3)), hence the straight line. Try again.
