    The vertical, horizontal, and slant asymptotes

    I was wondering if anyone could help me out here I am stuck on my homework it asks for the vertical, horizontal, and slant asymptotes and gives me a problem like this

    y= 1/(x-2)

    my teacher said use a graphing calculator but is there a way to do these without?

    Thanks
