    intercepts of a graph

Thanks in advance for your help! I have a few problems that I need some help on. Here they are....

    1. Find the x- and y- intercepts of the graph of the equation.

    y=x squared + 10x +21

    2. Use the given conditions to find an equation in slope-intercept form of each of the nonvertical lines. Write the vertical lines in the form x=h

    Perpendicular to -3x + 2y =10
    passing through ( -6, -4 )

    3. Determine whether the pair of lines is parallel, perpendicular or neither.

    6x + 2y =8
    18x + 6y =25

    4. Find the given value.
    Find (f*g)(2) when f(x) = x+1 and g(x) = -3xsquared + 15x -5

    5. Find the domain of the composite function f.g
    f(x) = x+3 , g(x) = 2/x+6

    6. Determine whether the given function is one-to-one. If it is on-to-one, find it's inverse.

    f(x) = 4x-20

Thanks again for the help in advance!!!!!

i can help u with few of them....

    1. u can factor the equation which will give u the x-intercepts (-7, -3)..set x=0 to find the y-intercepts...

    3. try solving the equation for "y" and then find the slopes of the equations...u can then figure out if they are parallel or perpendicular to eachother

    4. i got 14 for this question....u can plug in g(x) in f(x) for x and then plug in 2 for x....u should be able to solve....

    i hope that helps...

    Guide for the first problem.
    To find the x intercept set y = 0
    to find the y intercept set x = 0
