1. ## probability

One person has q amount of \$ 7.560,00 to buy a plot with a price of \$ 15,00 per meter quadrado.Considerando that the cost to obtain documents of the property charges the buyer in 5% of the land, question is:

What is the maximum area that a person can buy with the money she has?

$480m^2$

1. The post title of probability is completely irrelevant to the question. It's even less relevant than the greatly annoying "Help me pleeeeeeease!!!". Use a more relevant title next time.

2. Be more careful where you put the comma (,) in your numbers if you don't want people to misread the question. And the dot in "\$ 7.560,00" doesn't help things either.

My understanding of the question suggests that you solve

7,560,000 - (x)(1,500) - (5/100)(x)(1,500) = 0.

Edit: Or in light of posts #3 and #4, solve 7.560,000 - (x)(15,00) - (5/100)(x)(15,00) = 0.

3. Actually, 7.560,00 is fairly common notation outside english-speaking countries for what we would call 7,560.00 - they use the comma as a decimal separator and the period as a thousands separator.

No wonder I think everything is so expensive every time I visit.

Hmmmmp ...... a cheap plot at what 'we' would call \$15.00 m^2. Swampland if you ask me ......
