1. I am lost...Help anyone please.

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. Anyway this is my last resort. I am alright with math but I'm no Einstein. I have a total of ten questions here that I just cannot answer and am honestly tired of trying. I will post the first five because that is all this site will allow me to post due to the size limitation of the file. I will post the second five on another thread. If anyone can help me out please let me know.

Luis

These questions are elementary.
Tell us your solutions for each and then forum members will help you to understand it and solve it.

6. Elementary to you OReilly but not to others.

Reread my intial post. I AM TIRED OF TRYING. I am not a math genious.
If you want to help me, then help me. If not then just don't post.

Here is my solution.
1. d
2. c
3. a
4. a or d
5. ???
6.?
7. b
8.?
9.?

7. if you have the points (4,-3) and (-4,3) you should have a right triangle with sides 6 and 8 then r (the distance between them) = 10

sorry i dont have time for the others now....

8. Dan,

So I guess the formula

d(p1,p2)=Square root of (x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2

is not the right way to go huh?

Thanks,
Luis

9. Dan,

I see it now and the formula I posted works also. I see the light...on that one anyway.

Thanks,
Luis
