so i was given a question:
Consider the function f(x) = 1/x + 4 and g(x) = 2/x. Graph f and g on the same grid.
a.) determine the points of intersection of the 2 functions>
Solve the equation 1/x + 4 = 2/x to check your answer.
So i dunno how to do cross multiply with that question can someone clearify for me. So i was instruct to draw a grid and 2 rational functions, according to the 2 given function i think one is 2/x which theres not much difference from 1/x and the other graph is shifted up by 4 through the horizontal aysmtopes.
and sry, if u dont get the question on top can u also help me so solve this one, LOL~~ thanks
x^2 -1 / 2x^2 -3 = 2x^3 + 3 / X^2 + 1
so i got this, x^4 - 1 = 4x^4 - 9
, 3x^4 - 8 = 0
now what are u suppose to do?
