    Coordinated Geometry

    a line passes through the point (0,5) and has the gradient -2. what is equation of the line.

    Intercept is b=5 and slope m=-2
    Thus,
    y=-2x+5

    The y-intercept is when the line intercepts the y-axis
    Alternatively it is when x=0.
