    Graphs of functions: Equations

    If the point P is on the graph of a function f, find the corresponding point on the graph of the given function.

    P(3,-1); y=2f(x)+4


    First and foremost, the instructions in the beginning makes no sense to me. I do not understand what it's asking for.
    And second, what are the steps for solving this?
