Hi thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Basically we've been given an assignment the includes the question:

A function g is even and periodic with period 4. It is given in [0,2) by

g(x) = {x^2 if 0 <= x < 1
{2 - x if 1 <= x < 2

Draw the graph of g(x) on [-4,4]

I know how to draw the graph in the original range of 0-2 but its when it changes to [-4,4] that throws me. Also with the period being 4 I tried just translating the graph I got when drawing it between [0,2) 4 units but then it turns out not to be even.

Any help anyone can give will be great. If you need further explanation just ask.
