    Exclamation Intercepts. Please Help.

To find the x- and y-intercepts for the following equation :

    6x + 3y = -18

Do i subsititue x for 0 to find the y intercept and then y for 0 to find the x intercept??

Test tomarrow and were doing a review. I may have more questions as well if you could stay on and look for them. Anything helps. Thanks

Domain= What can x be that will give you a real number
Range= all the values that f(x) (or y) can be when you plug in all the possible values of x.

    So here, y=1/(x-6)
    What can't x be?

Then think, what will happen if x goes to a very big or a very small number.
What are the possible y values? That will be your range.
