    Range of f(x)

    Could do with some help thanks

    Find the range of the functions

    a) f(x) = 2X+7

    b) f(x) = (x+2)(x-1)

    thanks again

    Assuming there are no restrictions for the domain, and the domain is all real numbers, then

    a) f(x) is linear. The range f(x) is all real numbers.

    b) f(x) is quadratic ( a parabola opening upward with vertex (-.5, -2.25)). The range f(x) = {f(x)|f(x)>=-2.25}
